BIO

Wayven Pienaar

Is a versatile novelist whose work reflects the diverse and expansive perspective of a true global citizen. Born in Cape Town, South Africa, she has spent more than half her life living in various corners of the globe, an international journey that deeply informs the themes of displacement, identity, and resilience found in her writing.

With a career defined by narrative depth and a refusal to be pinned down by a single genre, she has spent years exploring the complexities of the human condition through five distinct works: A Crisis of Faith and Religious Confinement, Drifters Without Borders, Love Interrupted, Memoirs of a Lunatic, and Hey Zombies! Thanks for Nothing: Her fifth and latest release, a sharp, genre-bending journey through time and cultural absurdity.

Having just completed her fifth novel, Wayven is currently taking a well-earned hiatus from the page. While she has no active projects in development at this moment, she remains a writer at heart—waiting for the next spark of inspiration to strike before she inevitably returns to put pen to paper once again.
