Wayven Pienaar is an author, traveller and chronic observer of the strange things humans do to one another.
She has lived and worked in several countries, spent years moving between cultures, and developed a particular fascination with the gap between the world we imagine we’re building and the world we actually end up living in.
She writes about people who don’t quite fit, situations that go spectacularly off the rails, and the absurdity of being human.
“Hey Zombies! Thanks for Nothing” is one of five books she has written, because apparently one fictional universe was never going to be enough.
Wayven is currently taking a well-earned hiatus from the page. While she has no active projects in development at this moment, she remains a writer at heart, waiting for the next spark of inspiration to strike before she inevitably returns to put pen to paper once again.
